# Occupant and Tenant Workflows

PlanSync supports public issue reporting for occupants/tenants without requiring a full account.

## Occupant tokens

Workspace teams can issue/revoke occupant tokens per project. Tokens are used for:

* Public metadata lookup
* Issue submission
* Photo upload flows

## Public submission flow

Typical sequence:

1. Retrieve token metadata
2. Submit issue details
3. Presign and complete reference photo uploads (optional)

These routes are intentionally separate from normal member session routes.

## Privacy and abuse protection

* Tokens should be treated as secrets
* Public submissions are rate-limited
* Reported user identity data can be masked in selected contexts

## Tenant requests in app

Submitted occupant/tenant issues feed into internal issue workflows where operations teams can triage, assign, and resolve work.
