File and folder management

Create folder structures in each project
Upload files with version-aware workflows
Rename and reorganize folders/files
Remove outdated files safely

Viewer capabilities

Open project files in-browser
Navigate sheet versions
Save/restore viewer state
Lock file versions for controlled editing periods

Collaboration

For workspaces with collaboration enabled:

Presence and heartbeat APIs keep active viewer sessions visible
Event streams support real-time viewer updates
Sessions can be explicitly ended/left

Public/free viewer

PlanSync also includes a standalone viewer experience for non-workspace usage. This is separate from authenticated project data.

Storage guidance

Upload and read access is handled through presigned URL flows. Keep object store credentials in your backend environment only.
