Workspaces and Projects

PlanSync is organized as Workspace -> Project -> Modules.

Workspace fundamentals

A workspace is your top-level account boundary for:

Members and roles
Branding and identity
Billing plan and quotas
Shared material libraries

Roles and permissions

Workspace roles:

SUPER_ADMIN: full admin, billing, organization settings
ADMIN: workspace management and project management
MEMBER: normal contributor access

Project-level membership can be scoped for external collaborators.

Project fundamentals

A project contains operational data like:

Files and drawing versions
Issues, RFIs, punch items
Field reports and schedule
Takeoff lines and proposals
O&M assets, maintenance schedules, inspections, occupant tokens

Recommended launch order

Configure workspace branding and team
Create project and baseline settings
Upload drawings and structure folders
Enable modules and assign module owners
Define portal visibility before sharing externally

Plan gating

Some modules require paid plans:

Pro plan: core advanced construction workflows
Enterprise/O&M plan: operations and maintenance modules

If users see 402 API responses or disabled features in UI, check workspace billing status and enabled modules first.
